What gives you the ‘kick’?

When you have one free morning and two competing choices — to get up and work and to binge-watch — which are you likely to pick?

The first thing you need to know is that there’s no wrong answer here. And the second thing is, it’s perfectly okay to pick the couch over sweating it out at a job. It’s human to feel lazy, and there’s no need to feel guilty about it.

On those days when you don’t feel like doing anything, what’s that thing that gives you the kick or helps you get in the mood for ‘doing’?

Some people can’t go a day without downing a cup of coffee every morning. Some find their kick in running, jogging, or any workout routine that makes them sweat.

Before getting my day started, I like putting my space in order. In the middle of taking out the trash, doing the dishes, and laying the bed, I can mentally organise my day and run through all that needs to be done.

It might not come in that form for you, but the most important thing is finding what can spark you to action and help you dig in.
