What does it mean to move in the path of least resistance?
It’s choosing to live life the easy way. You wake up, go to work, come home, eat, and sleep. That’s all. A pretty routine life. You get married when it’s time and have children. The only impact you make is advancing the cause of progeny. Nothing more.
There’s nothing inherently wrong with living that kind of life. It’s just that there’s also nothing exciting about it. It’s boring and uneventful. It’s the path of least resistance.
But there is another way to live — a more interesting and impactful one. It’s not the easy path, so you may not find it appealing. But if you try it, you might be remembered beyond the confines of your household. It’s the path of most resistance.
The path of most resistance is where you step outside your comfort zone. It’s where you live on the edge, pursue crazy big-hairy goals, and fail many times. Yes, you will fail a lot. But the thrill and adrenaline that come with it are unmatched. That’s where creativity thrives. It’s where you find all the superhumans and achievers.
So it’s really up to you. There’s no right or wrong here. It’s just a choice between watching the game of life from the sidelines or getting on the field to play. It’s the player who scores goals, not the spectator.
